In the middle of the night, Lingfu and the queen are on their way to the capital. Lingfu asks the queen how she is doing. The queen tells him that she is afraid that something will happen to her. She asks him to tap the prince, who is always with her. The prince is a god-fearing prince, she says, and he must be with her because he was a "killing machine" in her previous life. She then asks the prince why he is running around with her, and the prince replies that he is with her for the sake of god.
