The three of them sit in the back of the car, waiting for Beuan to emerge from the hiding place. Beuan is distracted, and the three are worried that if Beuan hides himself, he will turn his attention away from them and kill them all. The three try their best to protect Beuan, but he is too calm to do so. He is amazed at the skill of Beuan's "protective shield" and wonders where he learned it from. He feels that he and the others will have someone to protect them in the future, and he will kill anyone who bullies his mother.
