When the sound of the door is heard, it is actually the voice of Zhen, who has been trapped in the glass room. He tries to find a way out, but is interrupted by Ren, who is trying to enter the correct password. He realizes that they have been resisting each other's urges all along, and he is able to see that all of Zhen's movements are directed at him. He can see the pattern of Zhewu's fingers with his plants, and then he can copy them all. He wants to know if Ren really cares about him, so he asks Ren if he is too selfish not to be mad at him, and Ren replies that it turns out that it is a false alarm, and that he will bring him in.
