Gamut tells his father that he is going to have a baby and that he will not tell anyone about it. He tells his doctor not to worry about his health, as he is about to become a father. The doctor tells Gamut that he should take a leave of absence from work for a few days, and Gamut agrees. He then informs his father about the rumors that have been circulating about him and his new relationship with Caius. He says that Caius's company is split into two factions: the "conservative" faction headed by the current president, and "the radical" faction represented by Gamut. The company's laboratory was forced to close for a while, and there is no way to perform a male pregnancy test.
