The next morning, the disguised diamond tries to find the masked man, but he is interrupted by his sister, who tells him that the masked men are members of the company. The disguised diamond realizes that the company that he has been loyal to is the one that caused him to be beaten up by Gamut. He tells his sister that if Gamut knows how good she is to the company, they will become more loyal to her. He also tells her that he is the secret lover of Gamut's mistress, and they will not discuss it now. He is glad that the black spots on his neck have not gone away. He says that he will take care of the boy for his whole life. He asks his sister to remember that sometimes it is safer for her to pretend to not know anything. He explains that now that he's on the path of power, he must use all his resources to gain more control. One day, he says, he'll be able to dominate everyone, and no one can remember his past by then.
