This chapter opens with Caius's declaration that Caius is finally going to have a baby. He's been through a lot, and now he's going to be the father. Caius tells him not to worry, because he'll be able to beat him. He tells Caius to lead the cats to shred them apart, and Caius says that if they were to transform him into a human being, he'd be miserable, and he wouldn't want to control Caius. He says that he won't let Caius be his pet, because Caius isn't strong enough to fight with him. The cat says that killing Caius would be much better for Caius, since Caius can't really fight anymore. He asks Caius why they should kill him first, and she says that she wants to kill him every time he tries to get to her. She tells him to calm down, because she's not as vicious as he is. She reminds him to keep his mouth clean, because it's bad for his body, and not good for his soul. She warns Caius not to get angry, because if he gets angry, it'll make Caius even more annoying. He admits that he is annoying, but he doesn't take it seriously at all, because no one likes him. When Caius smells something, he smells the baby's scent. He realizes that the baby must've inherited from him, because the baby is already doing the same thing in the womb. He wants to sacrifice his love life for the sake of the baby, and that's what Caius does. He orders the cat to shred the baby apart.
