About This Chapter
Dr. Ganymede is in the doctor's room, and the two of them discuss the possibility of taking a bath together. The doctor explains that the drug he's been taking will cause hallucinations, which will lead to the appearance of people in his mind. He says that if Dr. Ben-Ruan is thinking of two people at once, only one person will appear. The two men agree that it's time for them to take a bath. Dr. Tanymede, however, is not so sure about the idea. He's worried that the two men will get into a fight, and he wonders why they haven't taken a bath yet. He wonders if they've been drinking too much, and wonders if the doctor has been drinking more than usual. The Doctor says that he'll be fine, but that he doesn't want to force the issue. He wants to go out and get some fresh air, and that's what he'd like to do. He tells the Doctor to go ahead and take the bath, but the Doctor refuses, saying that he can't force him to do anything. He leaves the Doctor in the room and goes out to get fresh air.
