In the southeast watchtower, Kshichiro doesn't know that the women have just returned from the washroom. He's not sure why, but he's sure that they're trying to take care of him. The women, he tells us, are nothing more than " caged animals" . He orders the women to bring him a cask of sake, which is three times stronger than usual, and he'll make them drink it and "bring out the beasts" in them. He tells the women that if they don't drink, they'll be "of no use" to him, even if they were to whip the women. He also tells them that they had hoped to have sex with a wooden horse five to six days ago, but the women are sick of what they've done, and they won't be able to do it any more. He then tells them to rape the man in front of them, and if they refuse, he promises to make their lives "a living hell" for the rest of them.
