Banshozan, the chief priest of Toukaiji temple in the village of Soho, is being questioned by the Ashina clan, who have come to see him. He tells them that he has become a nun and that he wants to show them what he has done. He wants them to know that the woman is forbidden to have any contact with men and that no man can lay his finger on her. The Ashina leader, Urushido, demands that five men be sent to the village to watch him and to cut off the heads of the rebels. He also demands that the ashina leader bring to him 15 of his own women.
