Two boats are approaching from the east and from the west. The girls try to catch them, but the ice is so thick that it's hard to see them. They're so close that they can barely see the enemy, and they're about to kill them when a creak in the ice lets them know that they haven't yet reached shore. They decide to take the two girls to the shore, where they'll be able to catch the enemy.
