This scene takes place in the "Quiet and Suitable for Relieving" room of the Ming household. Yesheng asks if he can help him find some herbs that can be used to make pills for the wounded Ming men. He tells him to go ahead and look at the picture. He says that he will use the picture as a reference and then he will go with the wounded men to search for the herbs. He then tells them to use acupuncture to heal their injuries. The wounded men are all exhausted and Yesheng tells them not to worry. He also tells them that he has forgiven Ming for his treatment of the old man. He asks them to forgive him for not confronting him earlier. They both agree that Ming should take a nap.
