In the middle of the night, jiu tells his sister that he's been poisoned with scarlet incense, one of the three most common poisons. jiu says that he wants to see brother jiu live on instead of him, and that's why he wants him to help him. He tells little jiu to follow his sister's instructions, and then he tells jiu that he can't leave because he'll be compared to the leader. He says that jiu is still the same aggressive guy he was before, but now that little sister has been cured, he can finally be a little brother again. Worried that little brother is planning to run away, leader tells him to come back. He's an innocent man, he says, and he just wants to help his sister. Confused, little brother tries to defend himself, saying that he is an outsider, but he knows that his sister would still follow the same decisions even if they were to repeat themselves.
