This chapter opens with a flashback to the beginning of the previous chapter, in which Cai Zhen learns that he has lost all the jades that he had collected from the felines. He is angry that his father has not been able to collect all of the feline jade, and he wants to take back what he has. He tells Cai Zhen that he will meet the other felines at the entrance of the exhibition hall when he is done with his work. He asks Cai Zhen if he is disobeying him, and Cai Zhen tells him that he is. Cai Zhen then tells him to seal the exhibition halls with a magic array. He says that he hasnt tested Cai Zhen's abilities for a long while, and that he needs to check on Cai Zhen to make sure he is not attacking him. He then tells her that he cannot use all of his power since he does not want to hurt Cai Zhen. He wants to stop Cai Zhen from attacking him, but she refuses to help him. She begs him to give her the jade, but Cai Zhen refuses, saying that he must start from her. He begs her not to forget that she is his property, and she agrees to give it to him
