In this chapter, the cat's scent is revealed to be feline jade, which is the scent of a human body. The cat and the girl meet again the next day, and the cat reveals his human form to the girl. The girl, however, is too pretty for the cat to love her, so the cat falls for her face, and kisses her. The two men discuss the possibility that the cat may have been seduced by the girl, and they decide to go back to the place where they met the cat.
