In this chapter, Gunchan tells Yonhap that he will be picking up Yonhap's son from the set later that day. Yonhap is worried that his son is going to be killed by a vampire, but Yonhap assures him that he is not. He says that if Yonhap agrees to work for him, Yonhap can stay where he is now. He adds that he heard that Yonhap was trying to kill him, and that he would be a hostage if he accepted his offer. He then says that he has some good news for Yonhap, but that he can't fall for the trick. He asks Yonhap to step down for a while, and Yonhap says he will buy some cigarettes. He also says that the house head, who has never had a kin before, is trying to woo Yonhap. He thinks Yonhap might be trying to get him to agree to some kind of deal with him. He wonders if he is at a disadvantage because he has become the House Head's kin, but he says he cannot throw away his life just for an agreement.
