"Clack clack" is the first word we hear as we enter the house. It's clear that the servants are trying to give Alek a proper greeting. The air is thick and the smell of mint is everywhere. Alek's father asks him why he's so surprised, and Alek says that he doesn't understand his son's suffering. The father tells him that he has a kin now, so it's time to come home. Alek says he won't follow his father's rules anymore, and he reminds him of the day he left the house to go to the mansion. It took a week for everyone to clean up the blood, he says. He reminds his father that he'll never be following his rules again. Alek asks if he can protect his son, and the father says that it would be best for him to come back.
