Minhoon's heart beats so fast that the narrator can't figure out what's going on. He says he's postponing becoming his kin because he doesn't want to be a part of the family business. Minhoon wants to be the "head of kin management" , which means that he can do whatever he wants with no interference from the other members of Hyungwoo's family. The narrator says that he just wants to keep the family for himself. He doesn' t want the family to be like a bunch of little children who don't have a good reason to be good to him. He's not a greedy person, he says. He wants to make sure that Minhoon is protected. He asks the family why they went through so much fighting while he was gone, and they say it's because they wanted to make him feel better. He tells them to be nice to him and accept his offer. He promises to show them his secret hiding place.
