The young master asks his brother why he is thirsty, and the younger man tells him that he is out in the sun helping tomoe. The younger man tries to convince his brother to drink some of the blood, but the young master insists that he should not. The elder man tells his brother that they are going to the capital, and that they will be gone for a while. The older man tells the younger one to stop drinking the blood and to report back to him when they return.
