Elian has received medical treatment, but because of his silver bullet, he will not be able to use his arm fully. The production has been halted, and he has not yet spoken to anyone about the incident. Elian threw away all of the vampire's blood that day in order to protect a human, and this is the reason why he was wounded. He is a symbol of authority for the vampire, and it is only by showing him the way that he will be accepted by the rest of the vampires. He says that the situation has not been completely resolved, and that it appears that his father is backing away. He tells Elian that he has been worried about him since yesterday, because his brother worries about him, and so he goes to visit him tomorrow. He asks why he came looking for him yesterday, and Elian says that he was glad that he did, because he was so happy to see him. He feels like he is living a "proper life," and he wants to continue the "sweetest man story"
