In this chapter, the vampire explains to Yonhap how he came to be a vampire. He explains that he is not a vampire because he does not have a kin, but because he has no will to live without the vampire system. He says that he will cut off the blood supply for domestic use if Yonhap wants him, but he will not go back to Minhoon. Yonhap asks if he is feeling well, and Yonhap tells him that he has a low fever. He tells Yonhap that they will have to wait until tomorrow for the operation to begin. He asks Yonhap if he can postpone the operation, but Yonhap says that it would be "intriguesome" for him to do so
