In this chapter, Ling-lan explains to the rest of the gang how his father was killed and how he survived the attack. He tells them that his father's name is ling-xiao, and that he was killed by a member of the Ming family. He explains that his family is not involved in a political dispute, and he is able to operate the mechas earlier than the others.
