Lise tells Lan that he and the captain were ambushed by a second group of mechas. They risked their lives to escape, but by then, they had already lost their sight of him. Lan tells him that he is an honor to serve as a loyalist of the family. He asks if he can see the difference between his pistols and those of the captain. The captain's gun is much more powerful than Lan's, but Lan reminds him that they are not completely safe. He suggests that they fly a little lower so that Lan can see that the others are cool.
