About This Chapter
In this short scene, the narrator tells us that he's met up with a guy named "cronus" at a fancy restaurant. The guy is named "minotaur" , and the narrator compares him to a "cow" . He's got a crush on the guy, though, and they're both super-strong. The two of them head off to get a bite to eat. The narrator says he'd rather eat a "sakura" sakura than a "roasted monkey," but he can't stop thinking about Athena, who he thinks is just as beautiful as he is. He compares her to the "goddess of wisdom" and "art," and wonders why she's not more beautiful than him. He also says he gets migraines from his head, which is why most countries are so afraid of associating with his brother, "hades," since he is the older brother of "zeus." The narrator explains that hades is the eldest son of "poseidon," the oldest of six siblings. The eldest son is "King minos," and hades's wife is his "retribution" for having killed her husband. King minos is the arbiter of the "underworld," which means that he has the power to rule the world according to the laws of the land. But the narrator points out that "lack of initiative" is one of the main reasons why Japan is so far behind other countries.
