It's late and the baby is still in the womb. The narrator asks the child whether he wants to be with his mommy or his daddy. The child answers that he doesn't love his daddy, but he does love his mom. He and his mom used to be lovers, but now they're not suited for one another anymore. He says that love between parents and children is forever, but love between a partner and a child can be "washed away" by life. He adds that there's a rumor out there that Charles Chi and Clara Lu were spotted together in the hospital, but that's not true. Clara says that the rumors are fake and that they've already been arrested for the crime. She says that they should hide from one another for a while so that the police won't find out about it. She also says that it's nice to be friends with one another so that you don't have to deal with the "wrong relationship" anymore. She adds that she's just not interested in the wrong guy anymore.
