In this chapter, we learn that the police have been called to the scene of the fight, and that the victim is Victor. He apologizes for his behavior, but he refuses to give himself to Victor, saying that he only wants to be friends with him. He says that even if he were in love with someone else, he would not be able to say anything to them, because he has no right to do so. He tells Victor that he wants him to make him his "number one priority" .
