The scene opens on a cold, snowy day in the Swiss Alps. It's the middle of the day, and the wind is blowing so hard that it's hard to see where the action is going to take place. We're not sure what's going on, but we're guessing that the scene's location is somewhere in the Alps. The narrator tells us that this is the first time we've ever seen the Alps, and that's a pretty big deal. We also learn that the Alps are home to some of the world's most famous skiing resorts, including the famous Swiss Alps Ski-Doo-Doo. We get a little taste of the Alps from the narrator's point of view, as he tells us, "I've never been to a skiing resort, but I'm sure I'll be back soon. I've been skiing for a long time, so I know what it feels like to be on the glacier." The narrator then tells us about how he's been skiing with a friend of his, who's also a Swiss ski-doo-doo. The two of them have been skiing together for the past few days, and they're getting ready to head back to the Alps for a skiing trip. We catch up with the narrator once again, this time in the middle
