Two years later, the sun is back in the palace. He's been training as a cook for the past two years, and he's finally able to enter. He tells us that the people are so fond of the crown prince that he still wears the same smile. The sun says that the gods treat him just like a dog. He says that even though the sun has been betrayed, he can still keep the light of the sun. The crowd is getting larger and larger, he says, because the sun doesn't seem to feel sad. He adds that the empress died many years ago, and even the sun didn't have a dark side. He asks the four of them to go back to the palace and untie the knot in their hearts.
