The scene opens in the middle of a desert in the central part of China. A man from the Fujian family is trying to bring water to the desert from the central pavilion in order to plant a spiritual tree. The man is a trouble maker. He would have drowned in the sand without the help of the Pandas. The Pandas have managed to survive by clinging to a silver tree, which has grown to a height of more than a hundred feet. The silver tree has created a miracle, and the man will return to the palace soon. He wonders if the mainland can become a place where people who are natured in wood can live happily.
