The narrator wakes up from the "unformed universe" . He doesn't know who he is, but he does know that he's interesting. He tells us that he once woke up in the world without knowing where he was or who he was. He says that he woke up from a dream in which little phoenix mistook his brother for her brother. He's shocked that she mistook him for the white tiger, the god of the west, on the day when the gods are invading the demon world. The white tiger has forbidden him to eat for a year, so he'll have to stay inside and wait for the gods to open the magic barrier on the mountain. The narrator says that if he had known earlier, he would have saved little phoenix. He compares the sky to a granary, which is the place where the immortals live. The sky suddenly changes, and the immortal mountain suddenly changes back to its normal state. The immortals will be struck by lightning if they don't have permission from the guardian of the mountain to open it. If they do get struck, they'll probably be able to get back to their normal state without permission. They'll just have to wait until the gods open the magical barrier.
