The next morning, the two men discuss the outcome of the test. The first man says that they didn't find any spiritual powers from the girl during the test, and the second man thinks that the girl's parents sent her there so they might be compensated for their daughter's selection. The second man wonders why the parents sent their daughter to the palace in the first place, and wonders if the girl was sent by the king as well. The man replies that he doesn't know how to deal with women, since he has no experience dealing with women. He says that since he's moved into the royal palace, he'll be able to do whatever he wants with the girl. He wants to kill the king, but the man can't see him, so he says that the man is just a puppet under the king's spiritual control.
