The narrator asks where the war is going. He tells the girl that he doesn't believe in it. He also tells her that the royals aren't there, and that they seem to be trying to kill them. He suggests that they take off their clothes and change into a boy's clothes. The girl is shocked to find that the chief of the robbery group in the mainland is a girl. She runs off to get help.
