The white tiger is tailing them all the way to the border, and chiyuan thinks that this is a desolate wasteland. He rushes to get merch and posters for the king, and sings songs for him. The king's guards, he says, are fan fiction. He thinks that everyone in the city has the same kind of thinking that the king does. He wonders why they are not in uniform, and he wonders how they are so put on to cheer the prince on.
