It's getting really hot, and the liquid in the bottle is freezing. What's more, if you open it, the liquid will freeze instantly , so be sure to keep it in a cool place. The assistant's talking to someone else in the room, so he won't interrupt them. So he's going to introduce one last trick before the club president arrives: the tablecloth trick. The tablecloth trick involves pulling a tablecloth out of a table when it's at rest. Because of inertia, when the tablecloth is at rest, the object on top of it will pull the tablecloth free. Uh-oh. It looks like the assistant has been sneaking around the room in secret all this time. He's not a member of the club, and so he doesn't have to worry about it. But he does worry that the assistant is blushing. He can't believe it, but he'll have to see if she can back up his confidence in her ability to do the trick. He wants to know if she'll be able to back up her confidence in the president's ability to pull off the trick without causing the tablecloth to fall. And if so, what's the point of the trick? He'll just have to wait and see.
