The next day, the sempai returns to the storage room. He finds that the girl has left her things in the box, and that she has left the spider silk that she brought with her. She leaves the strips of paper on the floor, and he rolls them up to look like a spider. He tells himself that he will use his phone to lure the man out of the box. The sempai is a moron, he says, and they don't have any magic club activities. He says that she is super annoying and that he could never say anything nice to her face. He also says that the magic club doesn't do anything, because they are all morons. The next time he sees the man, he thinks he hears him talking about a stuffed animal. He is shocked that the man would think he is cute. He thinks he is going home, so he is sure that he hears the man talking about the stuffed animal, and so he goes home. He pretends to be sorry that he heard what the man was saying, but he says that he thinks it's normal for people to have feelings for other people. He hopes that the two of them can go to the ward together.
