Back in the present, Hiroyuki and Hiyori are living together. Hiroyuki wants to finish the chocolates that he's been making for Hayato, but he doesn't want to ruin the whole thing by giving them to his friend. He's glad to hear that he saved him from being a bratty kid at the festival back in the day. He also wants to thank her for saving his life. She's so glad that she's able to show him that she loves him, even though she can't yet say it to him. She hopes that she can tell him that with her chocolate, but she'll have to wait until she can say it with her own chocolate.
