Okay, so now we know that Hiroshi doesn't have a lot of money, so he'll have to make his mom some really fancy food for the annual cultural festival, which is coming up in a few days. Hiroshi asks his mom how she's planning to prepare him for the festival, and she says that she'll just make him a bunch of different kinds of food, which he can buy at the grocery store. He's super excited about the whole thing, and he thanks her for taking the time to make him something special for his first taste of home. As Hiroshi and his mom are eating together, Hiroshi notices that his mom is fidgety. He wants to know how things are going at home, and Hiroshi tells him that she wants to make sure that he feels comfortable and at ease in his new home.
