The chapter opens with a flashback to Hiroshi's childhood, when he and Soushi went skating, had dinner, saw the Christmas lights, and then went home. Hiroshi tells Soushi that he's going to be living with him for the rest of his days, and that it's sad that he hasn't been able to express his feelings for her. Soushi says that she's not attracted to him, because she doesn't want to do the things he does. He's acting like a friend to her, she says, and she thinks that's because he'd rather see her as a friend than as a person. So she suggests that they try to show him different sides of her, so that he can see her side of herself, too.
