In this chapter, we learn that the two of them are going to be living together, which means that they're going to have to get used to each other's company. It's a little weird that they don't talk about their plans for the next day, but then again, it's not like they haven't talked about anything lately. The narrator asks who's planning to ask him to tie his own necktie, and the narrator says that he's really into learning how to do it himself. He's fantasized about doing so, but he doesn't know how to tie a necktie, so he asks the narrator to show him how. He tells the narrator that he looks angry when he looks at his face when he talks to anri, and that's because he thinks she's jealous of him. But the narrator is not jealous, he just wants to know what's going on. He says that if he and anri get together, it will make it easier for him to date her, because they'll be in the same social circle
