A year has passed since the last time we saw Soushi and Momota. Soushi is basking in the glow of the new year and wishes everyone a happy one. The gong chimes in that it's been another year since they last saw each other, and that they've both had a lot of new experiences. Momota asks if there's any hope that Soushi has lost interest in her, and soushi says that he's tried a bunch of different things to get her to fall in love with him, but nothing has worked. The only conclusion Momota can come up with is that she's lost her interest in him.
