About This Chapter
When the king asks for Badru's hand in battle, Badru protests that he hasn't fought in a while and that he's too young and inexperienced to be a part of the Egyptian army. The king tells Badru that they'll leave at sunset to return history to its proper track. Badru begs to be taken with him to the battle, but the king says he'll have someone to tell him at sunset. He asks why the king chose Badru to lead the army, and Badru says it's because the king's brother, General Memphis, is leading the army. He also says that the battle will end in defeat if the king doesn't take him with him
