About This Chapter
At the banquet, the king's son, Memphis, tries to get a drink with a beautiful lady, but she refuses. The prince is a detestable man, and he's been drinking with her for a long time. He tells her that he wants her to entertain the general of the army, and she refuses, saying that she's too beautiful for him to drink with. The general, tuta, asks the prince where he is going, and the prince tells him that he needs to get some wine. He then tells the general that he has gathered everyone to announce that they're getting "hammered" tonight, and that they need to wait for the king to return. The king is the king of Egypt, so he has the authority to execute anyone who's disloyal to him. He also has the power to kill anyone who tries to harm him. This is a gross violation of Egypt's laws, which state that anyone who is disloyal to the king is to be executed. The guy is a bad guy, but he can't kill the king. He refuses to stay at the banquet any longer. He wants to go home, but the king won't release him.
