About This Chapter
In the courtyard of the university, little duke is waiting for his sister, who has come to see him. He gives her a beautiful painting and a scroll with a picture of his infatuation with her. He tells her that he is the heir to the prince's family and asks her to sit with him. She tells him that she met him three years ago at the university and that he has been waiting for her ever since. He says that he gave her the painting and the scroll because he is in love with her and wants to win her heart. He warns her to be careful of people bearing gifts because they are likely to be ill-intentioned. He also warns her not to think that she has fallen in love. He asks her why she is asking him to be there and she says that she is surprised that she fell in love so suddenly. She says that life is short and asks if she has been reborn under her luminosity. She then asks if they have done the "pure hug" yet. He replies that they haven't yet done it. She asks if he is a scholar and he replies that he wants to be a scholar if he can do big at an early age. He then tells her about the duke, who wants her to receive his portrait if he wins. If she loses, she will be embarrassed. He reminds her that she should be careful not to let the dog get her way.
