Lin asks if he is mad at him, and he replies that he just wants him to be happy. He asks if she is afraid of them, and she replies that she is not. Lin tells her that if she still respects him, she should just cry and laugh. He says that he knows her as a smart girl, but she is inexperienced in life, and that would make her even more heartbroken. He wants to make her happy, but he knows that he cannot return to his hometown. He just wants to open up a store, so that he can give her a happy life.
