In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Lin, who is the brother of the governor's son. Lin tells his sister that he has always wanted to be a brother, but he has realized that he is not as good as his brother. Lin asks his sister if she is a friend of hers, and she replies that she is. Lin also tells her that he often hears her talking about the young master, and he is shocked at her beauty. Lin then tells his brother that he wants to join the guild and fight, but Lin is afraid that he will be harassed by the other members of the guild if he does so. He tells Lin that if Lin invites him to go with his sister, he will break his leg just like someone he refused.
