In this chapter, Lin tries to convince his older brother to give him the book he's been trying to buy. Lin wants to buy the book because it's beautiful, but he doesn't want to pay too much for it because the book is already being sold for a ridiculously high price. Lin tells his brother to stand in line and not steal other people's books. He also wants to know if his father asked if Lin wanted to sell more books. Lin explains that his father has asked him if he wants to print more copies of the book, but Lin says that they won't be able to make any more money from the book business since they've already made enough money by selling the first ten copies. Lin also says that he'd like to marry a woman, but that he can't because he'll have to take on all the responsibility for that. He tells Lin that if he falls in love with one of the girls in the group, she'll forget who he is.
