In this chapter, we learn more about Nemo's disappearance. We learn that he was only three months old when he left, and that he left without explanation. We also learn that Kim is the mother of Nemo and that they've been looking for Nemo for days. They've tracked him down in southern Alaska, where he's supposed to be buried, and they're shocked to learn that there are similarities between the two sites. Kim tells us that Nemo has gone back under the ice, and the writing on the ice is very similar to the writing in the cave at yonaguni. Kim and Kim are shocked to hear that Nemo is going back under, and Kim tells them to go to sleep. Carthago headquarters calls to say that the news of the 1993 incident has been published in the press. They decide to blow up the cave, which is about to be destroyed.
