About This Chapter
The next morning, Huck finds himself in the middle of a conversation with Kim, who has just returned from a trip to the Galapagos. Huck tells Kim that he's convinced that they've seen the "Indian ocean" and that there's still more to come. He's also convinced that Kim's father was "someone quite different" from his own father, and that he loved Kim more than anyone else in the world. Huck then asks Kim if she'd like to tell him more about the encounter with the great white shark. Kim says she doesn't want to talk about it, but Huck does want to hear it.
