"Woosh han" , says Richard, "we got rooms , but . . we got rooms" . Richard says that the town of baldlas is just one part of a much bigger picture. He says that he'll know more about the whole thing in the days to come. Richard tells us about the rail line that was supposed to go through all of these towns. He tells us that the railroad company that built the line was the president of the company. He had been a captain in the navy, a devoted Christian, and was a talented businessman. His "abnormal behavior" kicked in half-way through the project. During this time, he wrote the bible backwards. He ate all the animals he came across, including his wife and two young daughters. He held a religious ceremony, and then he slaughtered his family. Richard laughs and says that this is the "land of the damned," and he's going to make people understand it.
