In this short scene, we learn that Yeohwoo is going to be delivered to Jeju Island as a gift for his aunt's upcoming birthday. He apologizes to his lady-in-waiting for the mess he's made, and he tells her that he'll continue to think of his choice of wife. He's sure that she'll never be with him, and that he won't be able to stop himself from thinking about it. He tells her to be at ease, because she's not even close to his "ideal type" , which is a woman who's "in need of protection" . She's a "feral beast," he says, and nearly feels sorry for the prince when she sees him. He says, "shut up, be honest, I assume everyone's the same thought." He then tells his ladies that he was only trying to "reconcile a disagreement with yul," and that they're the real "predators" of his life.
