When the guards show up at the door, Desdemona is all, "Who was that? . . who was that?" She runs off to find her father, who is waiting for her. When she gets back to the hotel, she finds that the guards have taken her away from the room. She runs back to her father and tells him what has happened. He tells her that she is lucky that she was saved. She tells him that if he had asked for more, it would not have been so offensive. He promises to give her all of his jewelry.
